I’m an active flight instructor based in Pensacola, Florida, passionate about helping pilots sharpen their skills and enjoy the art of flying. I’m available for flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks (IPCs), ferry flights, and safety pilot work. While I’m currently instructing full time and not taking on new students pursuing full ratings, I’m always happy to provide guidance and recommendations — just reach out.
I hold CFI, CFII, and MEI instructor ratings, along with commercial glider, single-engine seaplane, and multi-engine seaplane ratings, plus tailwheel and high-performance endorsements.
Before becoming a full-time instructor, I served as a U.S. Army NCO with combat deployments overseas and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. After the military, I spent a decade in the corporate world, helping grow startups like DoorDash and Uber in operations and customer support strategy. I’m also (somewhat) multilingual, having graduated with honors from the Defense Language Institute.
I believe flight training should be equal parts precision, discipline, and fun: take it one step at a time, get a little better each flight, ask for feedback, and don’t forget to look outside and enjoy the view!
